YGNZ is funded entirely by donations and grants, both of which are increasingly difficult to obtain. Our membership programme effectively provides us with a small yearly donation toward our activities which allows us to provide certainty in sponsorship of our training events.

Full Flying Member
YGNZ's full flying membership is administered by Gliding New Zealand and is collected via your Club’s membership. The full flying membership is available for youth aged 26 and under. If you want to fly with YGNZ you need to be a full member of a New Zealand gliding club. Please check with your local gliding club to ensure your membership is current!

Social Member
$20.00 per annum
YGNZ’s Social Membership is designed for individuals who want to support YGNZ’s activities. We encourage family and friends to sign-up as Social Members of YGNZ and support young people to get flying YGNZ is a volunteer-run, not-for- profit organisation and the $20 annual donation and all other proceeds go toward getting young people flying.
Associate Member
$50.00 per annum
YGNZ’s Associate Membership is designed for organisations who want to support YGNZ’s activities – of course, this membership is available to individuals too. We encourage organisations to sign-up as Associate Members of YGNZ and support young people to get flying YGNZ is a volunteer-run, not-for- profit organisation and the $50 annual donation and all other proceeds go toward getting young people flying.
